Flakely GF

Summary:

Flakely GF offers a rotating menu of artisan gluten-free baked goods at a variety of locations around the city, all with different hours of availability. Our main goal was clarifying user pathways and creating a more seamless customer journey.

Process:

The information architecture needed some love, so we started by reducing clutter on the main navigation bar, editing copy for clarity, and creating visual consistency through typography, formatting, and color.

In addition to revamping Flakely’s existing Squarespace site and Square store, we added new features including a calendar, a “news” section to highlight the numerous awards and press pieces the company should be bragging about, and brainstormed marketing campaign ideas.

Flakely GF Website Before & After

-Lila Collelo, Owner, Flakely GF

Tori is a communications and design wizard.

As a chef and owner of a gluten-free bakery, I have to wear ALL of the hats... baking, packaging, bookkeeping, marketing, sales, etc.

I built my own website about 3 years ago, and while I did my best, the site was confusing. People were contacting me ALL of the time asking me basic questions like,

“How do I order this for shipping”

“When can I come to your bakery for walk-ups?”

“What days are you open?”

Even though all of this info was already on my website “somewhere”... I knew that I needed help. My days were bogged down responding to questions my site should have been answering. That's when Tori came in to save the day.

She intuitively understood the issues that were there, fixed them (sometimes within minutes), and created a beautiful, clean, modern website that not only tells my story but is easy to navigate.

Her design choices were flawless and she was amazingly quick to respond with edits and all communication.
